A Divan Bed for Everyone
I am currently on the lookout for some King Size Divan Beds and Single Divan Beds because my wife told me those kinds of beds would really be nice for us and the kids. I want to be able to buy those beds as soon as possible because I have been really annoyed with the old beds that we have due termite pestilences. All of our beds are made of wood and I never really thought that we will have any problems until those darn termites found their way to my wooden beds. I actually have some prospects already because I tried to check out those beds over the net and I found out that those beds are mostly foams, removing any possibilities of termite infestations in the future. I am just checking out my options for the time being because I want to see if I could get some promos in other web sites. Although, I also find the prices of those beds a bit reasonable. The beds were wonderfully made and I think they really looked beautiful. Basically enough for me to say yes on the price tags that they have.
Redesigning My New Apartment
I just move to my new and larger apartment and I am in the process of making sure that I will have everything that I would need to live comfortable. Right now, I am in search for some small appliances that I could use, especially in the kitchen since I really love cooking. In fact, I’d rather cook for my girl most of the time whenever there’s a special occasion and we seldom go to restaurants, unless I really find a new one that has very good reviews. I am also looking for a couple of hostess trolleys to put in my kitchen as well because I was able to see some in the stores the other day, although I will be buying mine over the internet because there are a lot more options to choose from in there and I might even be able to get better deals and prices. The bottom line here is I want to make sure that the kitchen will be complete as soon as possible so I can go ahead and practice cooking some of the recipes that I got from the old cookbook that my mom handed over to me a couple of months ago.
Something about Linen Fabrics
My wife has been asking me for quite some time to buy some stripe linen fabrics because she said it would look really good for our furniture in the house. She said she would just be the one to create the cushion covers and all she need is the linen fabric so we could save more money. She was able to finally figure out how the sewing machine works and she made it in to her hobby.
At first, I was having some trouble looking for linen fabric for sale, well at least the best ones, but my friend was able to tell me about volgalinen and I was able to find some suitable materials for my wife’s project. They were able to provide us some really fine fabrics and my wife really loved them because she immediately worked on the covers when we received the linen fabrics from valgalinen. I saw the joy while she was working on them a couple of days ago and as I watch her do her thing, I can see that she is having a time of her life and the ease in making the new covers for us. Thanks to the linen fabrics that I was able to buy.
Moving and Instant Storage
We are on the process of moving our place from New York to Philadelphia due to work related reasons and while everything is already settled on the other house, we still need to move the furniture and appliances from our current house. I’m planning to just move them by land because it would be really expensive if we had them delivered by plane and besides, we will just be moving to the next state so it shouldn’t be that hard. I thought it would be better if we try to get steel storage containers so we could have everything transferred in one travel. I think the portable storage would also be good to keep and maybe try to put it in the backyard since we were able to get a fairly large lot. We will be able to do anything with it, maybe even turn it into my own personal office so I could save space in the house. We’ll just put some designs on it so it would look good in the backyard. We could also turn a part of the on site storage in to our permanent storage room so we could still use the basement for a lot of things.
Houses, Interiors and Forklifts
We had a situation last week when our forklifts gave in and we couldn’t use it anymore. We were in the middle of a house construction for a client and we almost lost our faces when the incident occurred. Good thing we were able to find a rental forklift and we were able to handle the situation well. As of this moment, we are also trying to find out what we could come up with on this situation because we saw that they also have forklift sales so I am trying to see if we could get a good deal because they are also have used forklift in their menu. Anyway, right now the main concern would be the interiors of the house because we are also the ones who would design it. The client gave us the freedom to have a design for the house and we told them that we will show them three different models of interiors so they could still choose. I am planning to offer them our versions of contemporary, urban and transitional styles. They should love the style that we would show them since those three are our best. Then we buy the forklifts right after.
A Vacuum Mess
Last night was one of the worst nights ever in the household as I seem to be attracting too much bad luck. I was cleaning the house using the vacuum cleaner at home when all of a sudden, the machine stopped and I don’t even know why. So I decided to go next door to borrow my neighbor’s vacuum cleaner. While I was using it, I decided I need to have some music in my ear so as to remove some bad vibes from my head. I went upstairs for a short moment to get my mp3 player and when I got back, the vacuum cleaner was not working anymore, too! I talked to my neighbor and told him that I’ll just have it fixed. When I got to the technician earlier today, I was told that the two vacuums have the same problem and he gave me the vacuum spares that I need to buy because he doesn’t have those. I was really upset because not only do I have to buy some dyson spares for my vacuum, but I have to buy some miele spares for my neighbor’s vacuum cleaner as well! I just hope that once I get the parts, my technician could fix them immediately because my wife hates a dusty house.
Fence Renovation
I was chatting with my wife over the web last night because I had to tell her that the business trip that I am attending got extended due to some circumstances when she sent me a link to a certain web site, then suggested to have a renovation in the house and use bamboo fencing, as what the web site is showing. I didn’t like the idea at first because it will mean that we will be spending a lot on it, but when I saw the bamboo rolled fence designs that they have in there, it change my mind almost instantly. I loved they way they were made and the only thing I hate about it is that the idea didn’t come from me. Those bamboo fences should give our house an exotic look and I think it would also be a good idea to add some more plants in the front and backyard to make it look like a mini forest. This should also make us get our money’s worth with the flat rate gardening fee that we pay every week where they only do the bed of grass and a couple of plants. I already told my wife to take care of it and I can’t wait to get back home!
My Curtains Got Annihilated
I have to buy curtains as soon as possible because the ones that we have just got destroyed by those pesky rats. For some reason, they were able to find their way in to the house and were able to destroy all the curtains that we have in the house. I already contacted the exterminator and they should come in tomorrow morning. The problem that I have right now is to replace those expensive curtains that those pests were able to devastate. They were actually given to me by my mother as wedding gifts and most of them came overseas and my mom would be really disappointed when she finds out that they only got ravaged by rodents. I am pretty much sure I can’t buy the same curtains that my mother gave us since they are really expensive but I think we can hold it on our own with the ones that I saw over the net just moments ago. I will have to talk to my wife though because she might not like the designs that I was able to choose. I would need to have her “professional opinion” about the curtains before I buy them. Then tomorrow, it’s bye-bye rat time!
For An Easier Life
I bought some pneumatic tools from an internet web site last Friday because I thought they are going to be very useful in the house if in case something happens. I bought nailers and staplers since those are the ones that I really exert effort to whenever I fix things inside the house. And I think I am beginning to become a psychic now because I found myself already using them on a Sunday morning because one of our cabinets have decided to let go of its life and tell its goodbyes by giving in and having all of the clothes drop as it lets go of the hangers and decided to not function anymore. I used my tools to make a new one instead of just fixing the old one since it was really out of time already and any repairs on it will not be wise anymore since the wood is really aged. After buying some woods, I was able to create a new one and it was really an easy thing to accomplish, thanks to the pneumatic tools that I bought a couple of days back. If I didn’t have them, I might still be working on the cabinet until now.
Rugs from Turkey or the Internet
My cousin went to Turkey for a long vacation and I thought, since I am in the process of removing my carpet and replace it with marble flooring, why not have area rugs? From what I heard, Turkey has the best rugs in the world, or at least that’s what my girlfriend has told me, and I thought it would be a nice thing if I was able to get rugs coming straight from Turkey. I already contacted him and asked him if he could buy me a couple of rugs in there and I’ll just put the money in his bank account once he was able to find me some but he hasn’t answered yet. I was hoping I could get a genuine Turkish rug, but if in case he doesn’t buy me some, I guess I’ll just buy some of those cheap rugs that I saw in the internet since they also have some well made designs in there. I really wanted to change the look of the house and I think fixing the floor would be the major way to do it, plus putting some nice rugs in there as additional designs. I’m not putting my hopes up with my cousin but of course, it would be nice to get imported the ones.
