Removing snow from your roof, garden and sidewalks
Snow is sure to be a big problem that home owners have during winter season. It’s hard to remove snow on roof, on your garden, on sidewalks, etc. Especially on our part, it’s really difficult to remove snow on our roof since our roof is inclined. Sometimes, we even seek the help of roof raking experts. The problem with this is that it’s quite costly. So what I did is that I made some researches on how to safely remove snow from our roof and from our garden.
One thing that’s important when it comes to removing snow is never ever climb your roof. The slope and the snow can make it slippery thus making it prone to accident. Your ladder should only be used for hard to reach areas. It should be firmly placed and anchored properly. Another thing that is important is to get the proper snow removal tools such as shovels, salt spreader, snow blowers and roof rakes. Devices such as salt spreaders and snow blowers can help remove and melt snow from areas such as driveways and sidewalks.
